Job Description
Provide Support to the leading hand on all orders
Assembles frames using punch presses and other equipment
Carries out instructions in view of efficient processes adhered to
Liaise with Leading Hand to see what orders are first to be completed.
Understand and maintain confidentiality relating to all business activities, especially relating to manufacturing details and customer/ supplier details
Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines- Includes any uniforms if supplied
Maintains work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning finished good to the designated locations.
Performs other related duties as assigned by Production Manager or Sales Staff
Notifies the Leading Hand of any shop supplies or product that is below set stock levels.
Job Requirements
Previous experience assembling frames used in construction industry
Must be able to assemble frames using punch press and other equipment
Fork lift certification required
Must be able to take basic measurements with a tape measure
Provide support to the leading hand on all orders, and liaise with as needed to receive instructions on task priority
Carry out instructions in view of efficient processes being adhered to
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and team building ability
Basic computer skills, Math and reasoning ability required,
Must be able to communicate via written and oral communication
High school diploma or GED required
