JOB DESCRIPTION
o Provide Support to the leading hand on all orders
o Assembles frames using punch presses and other equipment
o Carries out instructions in view of efficient processes adhered to
o Liaise with Leading Hand to see what orders are first to be completed.
o Understand and maintain confidentiality relating to all business activities, especially relating to manufacturing details and customer/ supplier details
o Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines- Includes any uniforms if supplied
o Maintains work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning finished good to the designated locations.
o Performs other related duties as assigned by Production Manager or Sales Staff
o Notifies the Leading Hand of any shop supplies or product that is below set stock levels.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
o Previous experience assembling frames used in construction industry
o Must be able to assemble frames using punch press and other equipment
o Fork lift certification required
o Must be able to take basic measurements with a tape measure
o Provide support to the leading hand on all orders, and liaise with as needed to receive instructions on task priority
o Carry out instructions in view of efficient processes being adhered to
o Must have excellent interpersonal skills and team building ability
o Basic computer skills, Math and reasoning ability required,
o Must be able to communicate via written and oral communication
o High school diploma or GED required
