School Age Teacher
Kiddie Academy of Webster is searching for a Before and After School Teacher for our school age classroom. We are looking for someone with flexibility in their working hours. We are searching for someone who is professional, reliable, detail oriented, caring, and created who possess strong management and communication skills. This job is a split shift during the school year (6:30-8:45am & 3:30-6:30pm) and a full 8 hour days during school breaks, days off, half days and the summer break.
Essential duties of the School Age teacher:
supervise students during all activities and help as needed; ie: homework
Ensures that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom re maintained
Assists children with meal time and clean up as needed
Attends staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings as requested
Communicates with parents appropriate information regarding classroom activities and progress of children
ensures classroom medication schedule is followed
The applicants must meet the following:
Be a team player who is passionate about working with young children.
State requirements for the position.
Be able to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday to at least waist high.
Must be 21 or older.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
