Gale Healthcare Solutions is currently seeking RNs with OR experience to join our rapidly growing network of clinicians for per diem shift opportunities.


General
Responsibilities:
  • Keeping patients and their families informed about surgical procedures
  • Administering medication and using medical equipment under the direction of a surgeon
  • Responding to sudden changes in patients' health and managing occasional emergencies
  • Keeping good records and maintaining patients' charts
  • Using basic math skills adequate for dosage calculations
  • Working with surgeons, medical/surgical nurses and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op
  • Standing for long periods, lifting moderate weight and working in environments where there may be infectious materia

Requirements:
  • Current unencumbered compact RN License or RN License in the state of assignment
  • At least 2-years of recent experience as a Licensed RN in a hospital or acute setting
  • COVID-19 Vaccination or Declination with satisfactory proof of exemption
  • Current BLS and ACLS (AHA)
  • Immunizations/Titers (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Flu, Negative TB, etc.)
  • Physical/Statement of Health, FIT Test, NIHSS, etc.
